North Toronto Cat Rescue is an amazing non-profit shelter that houses adoptable cats until they find their forever homes. They have taken in and subsequently adopted more than 3,000 cats over their lifetime and currently have 160 cats living in the shelter. Read on for more about this amazing organization and why they need your help now more than ever.

Meet a few of the friendly felines they've placed into loving FUR-ever homes:

Unfortunately, due to redevelopment and construction of condos in the area, they are being forced to move out of their rental property by the end of June 2017. They have no government funding and run solely on donations, fees from adoptions, and volunteer manpower. Additionally, NTCR is the only no-cage and no-kill facility in the area. If these kitties lose their home, they may face relocation to a kill shelter.

Consider contributing to their GoFundMe or help spread the word!

They've even been the subject of a short documentary you can watch here:

And take a look at Jack and some of his furriends who currently live in the shelter:

We did a little article on the NTCR a while ago and it is truly a heartwarming story of how good-hearted cat lovers can make a difference in the lives of our animal friends. Help save the North Toronto Cat Rescue by donating or adopting a current resident!
