Friday, Feb. 12, 2016: #CatsInTheMews Weekly Roundup
Can you believe another week has already flown by?! Here's what you may have missed this week in cat news. And PS - it was a pretty darn cute week if you ask us!
NY, US: Even though the Cardiac Cats lost in the "real" Super Bowl, there were no real losers in cat-lovers' most anticipated sporting event of the year ... Hallmark Channel's Kitten Bowl!
Stapleford, UK: Clever missing cat is found living it up in a ... cat food factory! Actual quote from the article: "Tanya Evans [the cat's owner] was shocked by how much he had grown." I mean. How shocked could she really be ... the cat was living in a CAT FOOD FACTORY!
West Yorkshire, UK: Felix the cat just got promoted! She is now the official "Pest Control Manager" at Huddersfield Train Station! Doing better than a lot of humans there, Felix.
Web: And speaking of cats with jobs ... Smithsonian.com brought us a "Brief History of Post Office Cats" this week. Between ship cats, train station cats, and now post office cats, one has to wonder how we could get along without our furry fleet!
KY, US: A company called Cuddle Clones will manufacture an EXACT STUFFED REPLICA of your favorite furry friend ... and they look freakishly lifelike. Check out their photo gallery - for some, it's hard to tell real vs. fake!
